Golf Canada and the PGA of Canada are excited to announce the names of eight talented coaches who will receive critical education to advance their careers as top golf coaches in the country
After careful consideration, reviewing the membership survey and working closely with the nine Zone offices across the country to pinpoint member needs, the PGA of Canada is excited to release the strategic plan that will guide all operations of the association. The plan was created by an advisory group and vetted through leadership stakeholders over the past 10 months.
In celebration of the historic BetRegal PGA Championship of Canada’s 100th playing, it was announced today that Beacon Hall Golf Club, one of the most prestigious private golf clubs in the country, will host 100 of the PGA of Canada’s top professionals June 20-24, 2022.
The PGA of Canada recognizes our responsibility to create, foster and preserve sport settings that ensure positive and healthy relationships between players, coaches, trainers, and everybody involved within the sport of golf.
Earlier this year, the PGA of Canada worked with the nine zones from across the country to put together an all-encompassing confidential membership survey that will help us shape the direction of the association moving forward. The PGA of Canada staff, board, and zones will be using this data in the development of future programs, services, and opportunities to best align with the needs of our members.

Reflecting on his storied career, Strahan, 61, gets emotional. At the end of the 2021 season, Westmount Golf & Country Club’s head professional retires—leaving behind the people and the place that have fuelled his passion for 41 years.
